The Business Development Representative (BDR) will be working with our Partner & Reseller market which consists of companies that want to resell and distribute our HR&EHS compliance content and software. The BDR's role is to hunt and close new partner accounts while also nurturing and upselling existing partner accounts.

Our preferred ideal candidate is someone who has 3+ years full cycle sales experience in the Learning & Development SaaS world!

 
Key responsibilities: 
  • Identify, vet, onboard, and train new high-potential resellers; establishing confidence and commitment to grow sales of AT solutions.
  • Ongoing partner management with a focus on sales & marketing support activities, lead management, and ongoing coaching for pipeline development and progression of AT sales for partners to meet/exceed their sales quotas.
  • Understands, tracks, reports, and analyzes partner activity to ensure accuracy and proper evaluation of business partner success.
  • Helps drive reseller attendance to training, relevant events, and one on one appointments.
  • Helps development go-to-market plans that align with business goals and industry trends.
  • Ability to follow processes, meet deadlines, establish rapport, communicate effectively, and work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven organization.
  • Contribute to PR efforts, blogs, and web content
  • Sell training media and software through multiple channels of communication. (Phone, Email, Zoom presentations)
 
What does it take to be a successful BDR at Atlantic Training?
  • Prior sales and customer support experience in Saas B2B required. (3 years)
  • Ability to generate new business and work a sales pipeline from open to close.
  • Ability to nurture existing accounts by supporting, troubleshooting, and upselling.
  • Ability to overcome objections and deal effectively with rejection, while remaining personable to both internal and external customers.
  • Ability to engage in needs analysis by consulting with partners on their business models and how they can maximize profit margins through AT's products.
  • Strong time management and organizational skills (self-explanatory).
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong computer skills. (Must have CRM experience and be tech savvy)
  • Experience working with Hubspot
Compensation, Benefits & Experience
  • Monday thru Friday 8:30am-5:00pm, no weekends.
