PHP Web Developer - Remote

Our company, Atlantic Training, is all about real people offering real solutions to companies in need. We don't have: a board to appease, nor are we owned by some random investment group whose portfolio includes us and a chain of coffee houses. 

Although we have been around since 2005, we are very much still a startup and hope to be forever. Over the past few years, we have transitioned from a tangible training media e-store to an amazing SaaS/digital media company. 

The objective of this job posting is to find a PHP Web Developer to help build out our product and message to Fortune 500 companies throughout the US. 

Daily Deeds...

  • Working with our Sr Web Developer to determine the best avenues to implement web technology into an old industry
  • Establish a 'services first' mentality to a SAAS product based team
  • E-Commerce: Assist the marketing team in implementing the best avenues to get the customer from 'grain to glass' or from lead to customer
  • LMS: Raise the bar on how we can educate our customers electronically
  • Build up our various systems and platforms by implementing robust highly scalable solutions

Ideally, What you possess...
  • Entrepreneurial Fire and Excitement
  • Bachelor's degree in Web development or related field, or relevant experience
  • Proficient in LAMP development
  • Proficient in HTML/CSS/JS
  • Experience with an MVC framework
  • Strong teamwork skills
  • Ability to solve complex problems
  • Ability to develop ideas and processes and clearly express them
  • A high degree of independent judgment
  • Experience with Magento 2 is preferred but not required
  • Experience with Git is preferred but not required
  • Experience with WordPress is preferred but not required
  • Experience with an e-commerce platform is preferred but not required
  • Some phone skills to handle support calls as needed (seldomly)
Bonus Experiences... 
  • Knowledge of HubSpot Growth Suite (Enterprise)
  • SaaS and/or Learning Management System (LMS) knowledge
  • SEO & SEM skills
